Nasty Mondays first burst onto Barcelona’s music scene in 2005 and ever since then it has been at the forefront of the city’s social scene generating queues every Monday outside Sala Apolo and giving a new definition to the word “ Party ”. An artistic movement that has laid the foundations for a new concept of entertainment, music, design, photography, film, extreme sports, creativity, fashion and style.
The pioneers of this phenomenon who have resurrected Mondays nights are MadMax & Soren.These two showmen with rockstar attitudes who are more concerned with entertaining people with their energy, charisma and personality, together create the perfect double act.
Nasty Mondays has conquered many cities all of which have enjoyed the experience of their unique sessions. In Spain they have toured from Madrid to Ibiza, playing at festivals such as Bilbao BBK on numerous occasions. In Europe, Nasty Mondays has left its mark in cities like Amsterdam, Gothenburg, Munich, Lisbon and Copenhagen, to name a few. Nasty Mondays has also appeared at various one off events such as the Opening of a Glacier in Austria, Total Fight in Andorra as well as the opening act on Franz Ferdinand’s Spanishtour.
The most demanding booking Nasty Mondays has accepted is a monthly residency on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. New York is the city with the most in common with Barcelona and the Nasty Mondays lifestyle, because of this aliation it is the ideal city to keep going to on a regularly basis.

Its creators broke the monotony of regular clubbing by offering a wide mix of styles and genres as diverse as Rock, Pop, Indie, Garage, Electro Rock or whatever it takes at the time to keep the people jumping. In a word, they put on a show worthy of any reputable festival.

Nasty Bass emerged as an alternative electronic room of Nasty Mondays on the room [2] of Sala Apolo. Soon has become, not only its imprescindible electronic alternative, but probably the best Bass music club in Spain, filling every monday to the max, the [2] room of Barcelona’s legendary Sala Apolo and always showcasing cutting edge club sounds.
The cabin crew consists of three keynames in spanish electronic scene. Kosmos, a true pioneer and one of the most respected SpanishDj’s, also resident at Nitsa Club and Tracy Recordings label owner; Radiocontrol, one of the country's most important artists too, a great DJ responsible for Noize Club and member of the celebrated projects the Amplid and Monkey Rave; and Rho,austrian born, Barcelona based excellent Dj, one of the most important names in Barcelona’s clubl and new generation.
